Service Description

Yoga nidra is a opportunity for deep rest. A quiet, inward journey where nothing is required of you other than to lie down, breathe, and receive all the nourishing benefits of meditation. Yoga nidra or ‘yogic sleep’ is a guided meditation practiced in comfortsble stillness. You will be invited to rest on your back, supported by pillows, blankets and bolsters to feel completely at ease. There are no poses to practice, no movements to remember, just settle into comforts. And allow yourself to be held by the ground beneath you. Through gentle guidance your awareness with be guided softly through the body, inviting each muscle to release and each breath the deepen. As the mind begins to quiet, you will drift between sleeping and waking, a place of profound calm where all your physical tension can dissolve and you can find mental clarity. This practice is suitable for all and especially welcoming for beginners. Everything is guided step by step and there is no need to get anything ‘right’. Even if your mind wanders, the body still receives the nourishment of rest. Many people describe leaving yoga nidra as feeling lighter, clearer and deeply restored, as if they had slept for hours
